Hello from New Orleans!

Hello all. My new BDS is supposed to arrive Christmas Eve. It has been a few years since I had a smoker (been trying to do it on my gas grill) and I cannot wait. Looking forward to doing a lot of reading and learning on this forum.

Hi Billman and welcome. I'm sure you'll enjoy your smoker. I've done some smoking on the gas grill too but you can't really cook low and slow.

Thanks! Fortunately, I had a Santa on the Bayou party last night and was not able to be in the Dome. At least I chose the correct game to miss.

You are a lucky dude. We just love NOLA, and have been trying to figure out how to get back there, air fares are just so awful right now, and it is a long way to NOLA from the Upper Left Coast. You will love your Bradley and more so this site! It is awesome! Next up for me is some andouille for gumbo!

No Crawfish (Not in Season this time of year). Just a bunch of food and cocktails while 1 of your neighbors decorates his boat and dresses up as Santa. He then cruises through the neighborhood giving out candy and taking pictures with the kids.
Just another excuse for a party!!!
