A family owned butcher shop/grocery store that stocks almost all locally produced products.


And some unusual things that caught my eye..

They carry that Soileau's seasoning and chili mix - so I picked up 3 of each.   Look for a review in the next forum newsletter..

My little hand basket was straining from the load as it was..  (and it hit my wallet pretty good at the cash register :o)   I'll go back for sure.   I forgot to ask the butcher, but I bet I can get pork bellies from him.

They had a 7UP Citrus BBQ sauce that looked interesting.

I also grabbed a bottle of BBQ sauce and rub from the "Hogs N Heat" BBQ Cooker team, located in Breese IL.

And some other goodies...

It's hard to tell from the tiny pic, but the meat case is lined with bottles of all kinds of sauces..



They've got some good looking meat as well - I need to go back when I have time to peruse.

This used to be more of a meat market than specialty store..  I hadn't been in there in years.  Then they moved into this new building and really expanded.
