We left out about 11:00 (CST) to go to Mississippi for a Hunting Trip and decided to travel thru the center of the States (Tx, La, Miss) on two lanes roads.

That was dumb, But it was pretty!

Entering Louisiana!

And this is how you "KNOW" you are in Louisiana.

After taking several wrongs turns and a small side trip (Casino) we make it to Mississippi.

The Mississippi River

Natchez, Mississippi

We got to Our Destination about 11:00 at nite and it should have been a 6 hour drive.

We hunted Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning and we left about 3 in the afternoon. It was snowing.

We came home Via the freeways. I-55 south to Hammond, La.

Then took I-12 east to Baton Rogue (near ronbreaux).

Picked up I-10 in Baton Rogue and crossed the Mississippi River again.

We had to stop in Kinder, La where they collect road tolls.

We got to Kinder at 7:00 and left at 2:30 after paying heavy tolls.

Got Home this morning about 5:00.

Fun Trip.

And not one picture of a Deer to be seen. Did you go deer hunting or just some drinking and gambling? LMAO
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Well, the last time I went huntin' bucks, it was at a casino. ;D

When you take a Road Trip with me, you have Road Trips inside of the Road Trips.

The Hunting Pics are to come.

I did "Gamble" (Actually just gave them my money), but there was no drinking as we would be back on the road

and I DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE!

CRG, glad you had a good time on the "hunting trip"! ;)
I find it much easier to just throw the toll money out the window on my way by.
Ends up costing less in the long run :D :D
Either Way....I'm Smoke'N It

Looks like you don't keep your hands on the wheel either, I can see both hands on the camera in that rearview mirror and it's the passenger side on top of it.  ;D
Rodney Dangerfield got his material from watching me.

Actually the "Smokin Monkey" is a self portrait. ;D

No wonder there's no deer. Monkeys eat bananas.

hal, had a fun time.

We stopped in Baton Rogue and went to Bergeron's (ronbreaux's fav place)

but they had just closed up.

Got some more pics to post, after I finish processing "all" the deer.
