... and may your Mardi be gras! Having red beans and rice for lunch (made yesterday - they're a "Monday thing") then off to the big downtown Honolulu block party this afternoon. Got my JazzFest shirt ready. Got beads. Got attitude. Got the "how the Hell am I gonna get home afterward" options covered (crash at a friend's place about three blocks from the party or have SWMBO pick me up).

We did have snow earlier in the winter but it melted several weeks ago - before the day last week when the other 49 all had some on the ground.
