Yeah taste good to me and neighbor. Will be better in a couple days even.. I dont taste the licorice like another poster said. I cut the anise and fennel back some and added a tad more salt.

How far did you cut back on the fennel and anise?

The recipe is for 1 pound. I did 5 this time and used just under the 1/4 t. Like i leveled the tsp then tapped the side off some.

Yeah

When the seeds get heat they release allot of the oils. It can be quite strong. Thats why i cut it back.

Looks really good NePas.  I might have to give this one another chance with less aniset and fennel.
