Couple of years ago was in back to back car accidents - both times was sitting at a red light and some #$$#ole drove into me.
Have had chronic back pain ever since.

Tried Chiropractor - it helped get me moving again
Tried Massage Therapy - Felt great but only for a few hrs after it was over
Tried Yoga - it helps but still have to tolerate the pain - am still doing this for core strength though
Lived off of Pain Killers - my liver thanked me and I don't like taking medicine

About 3 months ago was introduced to someone that teaches energy healing
Part of the process is ensuring that one takes proper nutrition -
Some neat information but I don't entirely sign up to everything there
The other part is more of a eastern philosophy of acupressure on the ear.

Okay - side note : - THIS IS NOT SPAM AM NOT TRYING TO SELL ANYTHING AM NOT ASKING FOR ANYTHING - Just wanted to share

Was taking pain meds daily for a bit of time and the instructor took this stylus with a small ball on the end and started pressing on various points on my ear.  Then he followed up with placing a small bead/seed under a piece of tape to the places that hurt the most when he pressed on my ear.  This acupressure was constantly being applied via the seed.

Almost instantly, the pain in my lower and mid back "melted" away.  I keep these seed on for up to a week.  Pain free - and medication free - the entire time :D

Found out that this person also teaches classes on how to apply pressure at various meridian points on the body as well as on the ear.  The only difficult part is that the class is taught in Mandarin.  The teacher has been kind enough to provide me a translator.  Over the past several months, I've been learning about the energy flow paths within the body - something western medicine doesn't seem to acknowledge but eastern does.  Been learning how to treat myself and my family members/friends with acupressure on the ear.  My wife has even started to learn so she can continue to help me with my back  :D

I know that there are some nay sayers and nonbelievers but I am now a believer and practicer of this.

Have not taken any pain killers for the past 3 months - ever since that first day.  I do get back pains every now and then but all that's been needed is having a few meridian points triggered and I'm doing much better.  Even when I am sitting in long meetings at work, I have the seeds on and can press on the seeds and reactivate, triggering the meridian point under the seed for a quick shot of pain management.

Again, just wanted to share a recent life changing/improving experience.

Any idea what kind of seeds?

As a fellow back pain sufferer I can understand and appreciate anything that helps

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Not sure - it looks like a little small black ball.  The package says in english ear seeds - Couldn't read the other writing.
I asked the teacher if the seeds were medicinal in any way and he replied no.
The idea is that it just helps maintain constant pressure on the spot.
