Greetings from New Orleans!

Have been here since last Friday.  Weather is gorgeous, beer is cold and shrimp, crawfish, oysters and soft shell crabs are abundant.  Was planning to head back on Thursday but decided to stay until Friday.  Over the weekend was the French Quarter Festival.  Huge music festival that is 100% free.  Over the weekend there were more than 500,000 folks in the FQ.  Now that's a party! Haven't smelled much hickory smoke but I've smelled plenty of crawfish boiling.
