Man what a winter, with the blizzards then the ice storms I've been cleanin up branches all over the place and burnin every chance I get. I've been doin this crap almost every night for bout 3 weeks. Last night I was sittin by the fire makin sure nothin got out of control and thought I would take a couple pictures.
This was from at least 30 foot away, cause it was HOT.

It was a beautiful night, had lightning to the north so I got to watch a light show wile I was relaxin by the fire.

Pretty pics.  Couldn't get close enough for hot dogs, huh  ??? ;D

We have an "Open Burn" season here that's on now.  However, one needs permits from the FD and PD, for a specific date and time.  If it rains, re-apply.  Plus the fire has to be at least 100 feet from any tree, structure or road.  That kinda leaves me out, being in the woods.

Where there's smoke, there's food.

Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

My buds were on the phone with me and I had plenty of beverages.  ;D

Its windy here all the time, so when ever its a calm night I light the fire and relax.

Ketch22

With a fire like that you need a Truck of beverages.  :o

That's a 10 ft pole rule fire there!!
The fight isn't over until the winner says it is.

Might of been able to cook a hot dog if I had a 10 ft pole.  ;D
