Replacement sensor for AUBER PID , wall mount

I just dropped my PID with the sensor still plugged in.  Good news is it saved the PID.  Bad news is the wires got yanked out of the jack that plugs into the PID.  In a pinch since I am starting a butt I put the wires into the PID without the jack and it is working.  A very temp fix at best.  I just cannot see how to reattach the wires to the inside of the jack.  Does anyone have a clue how to do this?

Also I looked at the replacement and it looks like it is $29.99 + S&H.  Pretty hefty for a yanked wire.  Help!

You ought to be able to get a new connector at Radio shack and splice the wire back on.

I would take the old one with you.

Does the jack screw apart?
If it does, you may be able to resolder the wires onto the jack posts.

He may be able to put the jack in the Auber and push the wire in to see if it works and if it does

Glue that sucker together with some hi-temp silicone.

I looked at the jack and it doesn't look like it comes apart.  I wonder if I can get a new jack that comes apart and can solder it in??  I stuffed the wires in the hole in the Auber and it worked fine so theres gotta be a way to get a new jack but i'm not sure where I can get that type of supply.

JF7, I would try the hi=temp silicone.

Push the wire in the jack and then fource feed silicone in the hole.

Then mold it with your fingers.

If it works then you will still need to be careful.
