At work, when we get tired of the free food in the cafe' we'll walk over to Subway.  The past couple weeks there's has been a goose nesting in the shrubs.

Today on the walk, Momma was gone and look what we found.

Anyone know how long it will take for these little critters to hatch?

Not long.  And they won't be babies very long either.

They are hatched by us. Had to stop while working today and rescue a little one from between the tracks. He was left behind while mom, dad and the sibling kept on going.

We saw some goslings that hatched for a few days already earlier this week in central Iowa.

Caribou

They'll hatch after a little over 3 weeks of incubation.
That's a great pic.
