So I have a friend who owns a Masterbuilt electric smoker. He swears by it, and has told me more than once what a waste of money the Bradley is. A couple of weeks ago I was over at his house while he was smoking a brisket, he must have run out side about a dozen times to add chips. The food was fine, dang good really, but didn't have as much of a smokey flavor as I would have expected. So yesterday he and his wife was over while I was doing ribs in the OBS, they arrived just as I was putting them in the smoker. We sat around and shot the 0 for a while, during that time he ask me if I needed to run out there and check on things. I said no, the temp looks good, and mine adds it's own wood... After we ate, he told me that thouse ribs were some of the best he ever had, (first smoke on my Bradley). He is now wanting to look into Bradley smokers... lol

  Just thought I'd share that..

Hook 'em and reel him in!

He can use that Masterbuilt as a warming oven..

Or for target practice  :D

Target practice would be my suggestion since the master built is nothing but a very cheap knock off of the Bradley

Glad your ribs turned out great!

That's awesome. I think I am responsible for at least 3 people ditching their old smokers and getting a Bradley! The ribs must have been BA.

Yeah I agree with target practice. My brother bought his after seeing mine at work. Before that he only had a little portable LPG BBQ for camping. Now he is a smoking genius. I created a monster and he is better at somethings than I am. Way to go dribron, keep spreading the gospel that is "BRADLEY".

I've got a neighbor down the road a ways that has the MB and he is kickin himself in the a$$ for not gettin a Bradley.

The MB does work but he likes the hands free of the Bradley.

Good going dribron.  Sometimes you have to teach them to see the light.  :D

Where there's smoke, there's food.

Yeah, it kinda put a smile on my face knowing that I had finnaly shut him up... lol

Quarlow

Attaboy. You show that smug bugger. Then welcome him into the world of Bradley and let the past go right on bye. ;)

I have looked at every web site that I can find on a smoker and smoke generators.  I have found nothing that compares to the Bradley.  I even thought about building a smoker and getting a smoke generator and by the time you figure the cost of the box, heating elements and generator I could not build it for $299.  All sorts of SG out there but nothing compares to the Bradley Generator.  My money will be spent on the OSB and I hope it will be in the near future.  I am really interested in the sausage and snack stick making and have the grinder now and the stuffer is on order.  Just need the smoker.  Until I can get the smoker I can always .....cough.....grill the links.

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Tenpoint5

Nothing wrong with grilling the links! I have to make a couple of batches of links every summer. I only make SMALL batches when I make fresh sausage. SEE BELOW
