Bacon Hangers

What are the advantages of using bacon hangers.  Does it make a difference in taste or texture versus just using the Bradley racks and cutting to fit?

The Bacon hangers make clean up easier for me, plus when the slabs are layin on the racks the grease drips down and pools up on the ones below, no biggie.

Cody (owner of Allied Kenco) states in his website that it (bacon hooks) is also a good way to cook Brisket!

CRG, I would think that in Bradley, with the vertical temp gradient, it would be necessary to rotate by rehanging bottom to top.  Any thioughts ?

Hang thick side down and maybe support the weight alittle with a rack at the bottom.

Might get a more even cook.

just ordered a hanger yesterday from them 7.99 for a hanger with 9 hooks sausage maker had 6 hook hangers for the same price i think AK has better prices then sausage maker and they dont charge for "handling".
