I'm back and I feel like smoking some butts....

Back from LA and had a blast butt I am having some smoke withdrawls.  So I am smoking 3 Boston Butts for my softball teams BBQ on sunday. 
We were having some beers a few weeks ago when we decided to have a team BBQ and I asked what they were doing for food...  ;D ;)  They said ordering from sonny's, lol.  I replied "No your not"  ;D ;D ;D
So I got 3 butts and 3 rubs



Butt #1  Cajun Injector Garlic Creole with Batman's Rub and will slather with CYM


Butt #2  Cajun Injector Garlic Creole with Jan's Rub


Butt #3 Cajun Injector Garlic Creole with Adobo Seasoning and will slather with Carolina Treet

I need to find this Adobo stuff..  I've yet to see it in the stores.

STC, if you don't see it in the spice section look around the Latin foods (Mexican, Spanish).  Goya is one very common brand I know and they have several versions.
I like animals, they taste good!

squirt had this hidden in my recipe section I got from somewhere.

Dry Adobo
Adobo Seco


Makes 1 cup

6 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons onion powder
3 tablespoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 ½ teaspoons ground oregano


Place all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well and store for up to 2 months in a cool dry place.
You can add 1 teaspoon of any or all of the following to customize your dry adobo: Ground cumin, Dried citrus zest (orange, lemon, or lime), Saffron, Achiote powder.

The ingredients on the jar are in this order:

Salt, Gran Garlic, Oregano, Black Pepper, Turmeric
