Mmmmm Brisket

Got back from the Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge and was in the mood for some brisket!  11.6 lbs of heaven!   :D



After an overnighter in the fridge with the rub



4 hours smoke, 20 more cook time and 4 FTC



Oh yeah, here's a shot of LSU stadium where the country fest was held

Had to smoke him in the offset.  OBS was full of ABT's, cross cut ribs and chicken.

The brisket looks great and the Bayou Country Superfest looks like a good time.

Got the OBS full of goodies and cookin brisket on the offset sounds like fun.

Talk bout a brisket weekend, just gettin caught up here and it seems like everyone smoked up a brisket this weekend.
