New member, brand new smoke generator.
On the 8Th I was smoking some Salmon for myself and became very frustrated with what I had and was using. (Charcoal and hickory chips in a Brinkman smoker/grill)
Poopy tasting, unfinished smoked Salmon.  :P
Ordered up the Bradley smoke generator because I am an old smoker who has always had some sort of a way to smoke my favorite meats where ever I'm living over the years. I usually used a hot plate and a can with hickory chips in whatever box was available. Enameled refrigerators were my favorite. But big old electrical cabinets, and other convertible boxes were used.
I got mine from Amazon and also ordered up a 120 pack of Hickory bisquettes, Got the smoke generator this morning and went right to work installing it on my Brinkman Smoker/Grill.
Worked out great so far.
I took what was left of my Salmon and put two pieces on to smoke while I was "breaking in" the the new smoke generator. So far everything is going great.
The half smoked salmon is tasting real good, now. I put it on the rack with the "finished side" down and the tore up side is taking on a great smoking.
I'm looking forward to doing piles of Chicken, Salmon, and other recipes from the Bradley Smoker Book.
Finally, a great automatic smoke generator! Set it up and forget it.
I've always cold smoked in the past. This unit will give me the options of hot or cold, once I add an element and a controller.
Can you tell I'm a do-it-myselfer?
I might have to convert my current paint storage cabinet into a big smoker.  ::)
Thanks, Bradley Folks! ;D

Welcome to the forum Sonnypie. Neccessity is the mother of invention. Nice work. Just a word of caution, watch how much smoke you put to it for the first few smokes. The bradley put out some pretty intense smoke as compared to other smokers. We usually only go 1 to 3 hrs for most things and a pork butt which gets lots is only 4 to 5 hrs.
