Hey Admin,

Look may I suggest a posting board titled "Other Foods!" Why? Several reasons.

First you put up this board as a way to promote your goods. Plus this gives us (your members their trial and success) an area to bring together what we are doing.

Next, given that your smokers are so easy to use I'm sure from the other food posting boards I go to that there are many who have no idea of what a BS can bring into their lives. Folks who would love to be able to smoke a ham or a piece of fish but have no idea how to.

I'm sure there are other here like myself who go to these boards. However, under this current structure there are only smoked items talked about. I could see me going to...let's say my garden forum and posting about how to make this or that food (they have a forum there for this.) Then linking them to this site to read how to do it.

For example, I could post here how to make the greatest sub-sandwich you have ever eaten. In fact 6 months after I posted it on the Garden forums that thread is still sending to me E-mails of thanks.

This is your call. However, as a business person I would think the more folks that visited my site the more monies I stand to make! I'm sure this holds true here.

Plus you have a good group of members here that I'm sure would bring a lot to this table.

As soon, if, you create this board I will start it off with a few of the best I have.

Modifying the categories has been discussed before. See this topic for what others have to say on the subject.

Basically, I think the board currently suffers from too many categories, and an "open" category is a good solution along with consolidation of others.

Please post your ideas. I would think given that both the std and SS BS are the same-same that combinding them should work. Other than that I see a value in the current set up.  Then again I'm use to dealing with many boards that cover differant areas.
