I am seasoning my new BDS and I was wanting to know can you adjust how fast the pucks go through, or do you even want to adjust it? If you slowed down how fast it goes through would it burn the wood and give your meat a burnt taste?

You wouldn't want to adjust it, it puts it out before it stats making "bad" smoke.
