Oh..    That is my OS personal weather station receiver!

I'm with Pens - I don't use a cell phone.  I hardly use any phone except to talk to Sonny.   ;D

When the phone rings here it's usually "Hold on, I'll get her."

I year ya...    I don't talk much on mine either.   Mrs and MIL use theirs all the time. (we have a 'family talk' plan)

I use mine as a camera and wireless email tool must of the time..  Looking forward to tinkering with this one.

I'm happy with my blackberry bold.   Its good for text, email and internet.  I only use the internet when I have no accesss to a computer.
Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

I've had an Ericsson Xperia Android for a few weeks now and love it.
I surf the net, text, e-mail and yes even use it as a phone.
It has a built in GPS for Geocaching, Wifi capable. Wifi takes over
when surfing the net and e-mailing when wireless network is in
range.

Seems like any phone I get is smarter than me.

And I hate that!

House phone is the rotarty dial and I know I am smarter than it.

Up until five years ago, we only had to dial 5 numbers to make a local call. ;D

We are in the backwoods!

Same here.   ;D  Have an old Nokia that's good for sms or to call the auto service if my clunker won't start.  Don't need e-mail or surfing if I'm not home.

Thanks Ross.   I think my new one is the LG version of that.  Exact same features.  Lovin' it so far!

I got a Captivate (the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S series) but may switch carriers and get someone else's version of the same platform.   The only problem (which I'm sure someone will solve eventually) is that you can't sync "seamlessly" between Android and a stand-alone installation of MS Outlook (no Exchange server).  Other than that, it does it all and does it very well (except for the cleanup) and I couldn't be happier (at least not when I'm sober and clothed).

So while sitting here Saturday afternoon watching my Son's Tae Kwon Do Leadership class wanted to catch up on these forums - the pleasure of an iPhone.
