I got my new OBS Monday for my b-day, from my lovely wife.
Seasoned it on Tuesday, getting ready to start smoking this weekend. I've already started collecting some extra goodies, Thermometer (Maverick), spices...etc. Hope it doesn't get as expensive as my camera hobby.
I've gotten some great information already from this form and hope to be contributing to it as well.

Welcome Rob!  Great bunch of folks on here and don't let them kid you.  This disease IS going to get in your pocket!  It's all good though.  Have fun, set back, open a refreshing beverage and let the smoke roll.  Tell us all about your first smoke and since you're a camera guy, we want to see pics of the evidence of your outing.

Thanks for the warm welcom everyone. Just finished my trial smoke last night, with turkey thighs  and am now finishing up some Ribs and a whole chicken tonight. Everything is working out perfectly. Pic's to follow soon.
