Been smoking mostly salmon for over 15 years and just heard about this forum from a co-worker. Looking forward to learning a lot about the smoking process and everything involved with getting it done. I just built a smoker this past weekend but i'm sure it pales in comparison to what most of you guys use.

I've got a sister and BIL that after many years in Anchorage have just recently relocated to Willow. I've not made it to AK yet and only met my BIL last summer at Mom's house in L.A. (lower Alabama, Fairhope) for the first time. We'll make it up there one day!

Im telling you, I really dont comment a lot, but I lurk and read and read and read. Ive learned A LOT over the last 8 months. When I have posted questions or asked for thoughts I am never disapointed. Glad to see you on the forum John! I am doing brisket and butt this weekend! I'll try and bring you some IF there are any leftovers. HA!
