Thanks to CRG I tested out some bradley pucks in a SRG today. They worked out very well, I got 35 mins of smoke out of the 2 I used.

I beleive I'll stop using pellets and switch to pucks if I get great results in the next few tries!  Look real close at the 2nd picture and you can see my air nozzle modification I made, works great!!

Thanks CRG, it's folks like you that make this a great forum!

They worked pretty good, but I don't know how they will do in a TBE.   Thanks again for sending them, I'll try them in TBE  soon.

I think I may just replace the pelles I use and start using these.   ;D

Did you get my text?

Tommy I was kinda thinking there night be a way to stack them so

that both aren't burning at the same time to extend your smoke time.

Almost like they stack charcoal for competition cooks.

Then one would start the other, etc.

Yes, I got your Text!!! Was trying to figure out who it was. ;D

I was going to call but I thought it would be to late.   Anyway your right if I could stack them it would help.   Now I don't know how they will do in TBE or a non-modified SRG, I would think they would work but not as good since I have air nozzels and the non-modified don't.

I will take my Big Easy to the comp but not sure if I'll use it or not.  I will try a puck then just to see, heck a little more smoke in a BBQ comp won't be noticed!   ;D

Wishing you well and hoping to hear about the big walk!
