TMB & TestRocket go off to competition!

Well it's Monday the 23rd of Aug and TestRocket and I are gearing up to take on some really good BBQ teams in north Alabama on the 28th of Aug.

We both believe we can do well against real smokers and BGE's. Here are a few pictures from Saturdays practice runs. Remember we are only using SRG's and 1 Big Easy. I will post full results Monday after the competition

It's a Church fund raiser and only four miles from my house (and family Church). I read a post awhile back where TMB said he worked in Huntsville and I replied that I lived and worked here too. He started telling me about a competition he was thinking about entering and before you know it...well here we are, in the deep end!

We'll have fun, but only after turn in time! LOL

We have really tried some new things and I for one think we will do rather well. Funny I never thought I would meet another nut case for cooking in Huntsville!!! ;D
