My wife and I go to the Cattleman and Farmers day, joint BBQ each year.  I took some pic's this year thinking some of the home made crank up and down grills might be of intrest to some of the members.

This is one of my fav's.  This grill is cantilevered out and will swing over as much of the fire as you wish.  The grill is controlled hydraulically for up and down, and the grill will spin to the desired spot  as it is mounted on a center post.

Smoking pork ribs.

More riibs.

Toasting sour dough rolls.

Grilling sweet bread.

Tri-tip

The beer wagon.  All you can drink between11:30 and 1:30.

The meal.  Total cost: $8.oo.

The meal for $8 is a deal.

Where's the BEEF!!!! It's a CATTLEmans Association and they is eating PORK!!!
It does look like a good time and you can't beat the price for grub!
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Not to worry, there was plenty of beef.  Look at the first pic, that is all top block ( sirloin ) .  On the plate I had tri tip on top and ribs below.  I love both, but I want both smoked.
