My son goes back to college today.  I'm sending him off with this for tomorrow's breakfast.........   local eggs, local breakfast sausage cooked on the pellet grill (in hog casings, italian sausage size - Arnie, its Greyledge Farm), local bagel (it's larger than it looks) & cheese............

Indy Smoker

Are you sad that he is off to college. . . . . or that you are losing one beautiful sammich ???

kinyo

That looks really good!  ;D

That's quite a sendoff!

It's OK MOM he will be fine. You have taught him and fed him well.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

If it makes you feel any better, you can make those sandwiches for me instead.  :D
Rodney Dangerfield got his material from watching me.

From the LOOKS of that GREAT sammie, he'll be back and it won't be long.

Momma's Breakfast Jack .... WOW!

10.5 - I know HE will be fine  ;) .

Fed him ribs & homemade mac & cheese last night.

He made the comment the other day that he had lost 12 lbs   since he came home in May (he gained about that much freshman year, can you say freshman 15) .  You know it wasn't from lack of eating - it's that campus food is evil processed food.

Does he have room in his dorm for a Bradley??   :D

deb415611

When was the last time you were in a dorm room Squirt ;D   It's different than when we were kids,  the rooms are the same (literally) and the kids have way more stuff.  However, the "what not to bring" includes microwaves and hotplates but I did not see smokers on the list :D

I figure this is his last year living on campus, when he's ready for the Traeger I'll be ready for a MAK ;D

beefmann

looks good  enough to ear, and dont be sad, you  two can always chat on the  phone or by  e mail

JerkyAddict

I don't think it'll make it till tomorrows breakfast

deb415611

He had a matching one for breakfast today,  that one may not make it the 300 mile trip.  I just talked with them and they left over an hour ago and haven't made it out of CT yet (35 min to NY).

Deb

He will be fine, I know how you feel when they leave home even just to further their education.

Nice sammie too  ;D

ArnieM

Great looking sammie Deb!.  It's nice to use local ingredients whenever possible.

You should probably overnight a case of those to your son every week :D  I can give you my address too  ;D
