Seems to me that Hi Mountain says their jerky gun or something similar can be used for stuffing sausages.   That little tube on the end seems a little short to me and it's tapered.   Maybe they have another end that can be used.   I saw something about that but didn't pay much attention.   Sorry.   If there is a special end it would work IMO but you'd spend a lot of time refilling the tube but if that's all you have???? ???

I have used the Jerky Blaster and it wasn't too bad.  Takes a while to keep refilling the tube.  Stuffer with 5lbs of meat is a lot quick and a bit less work.

Just bought a 5 lb. LEM stuffer from Bass Pro Shops to replace my Jerky shooter.  Man that thing was a pain for stuffing.  I can't wait to try the LEM.

I've got a 5lb LEM stuffer and it does works great.   It however doesn't hold 5lbs.     Maybe 3½  lbs.   And if you're doing a larger batch it's a nuisance.   But overall it's a great stuffer.

The jerky cannon will work but it is a real PITA and slow. I had been making my snack sticks with it for the last year or so and finally decided to buy a 5lb vertical stuffer. I only make small batches of sausage and was just using my grinder before. Well the stuffer is a GREAT improvement. I think it would take me 30 minutes to do 5 pounds of snack sticks cause you are always refilling the jerky cannon and you can't get allot of casing on it either. All i know is i wouldn't go back to that way when i can stuff almost 1 pound per minute now with the vertical.
