Chili Head

I'm a long time griller and now I'm venturing into smoking too. I don't have a Bradley yet but after a bit more research I'll know which one to get. I just wanted to say Hi and I can't wait to start showing off some pics of my results with recipies.

Happy Smoke'n  ;)

I was going to be a month ago (had it picked out and loan approved) but my truck unexpectedly started crapping out and it would have cost too much to fix so I unloaded it on the dealer. Looks like my toy is going to have to wait another year. Yes I am heart broken  :'(

On a happier note:  I ordered a digital smoker yesterday, hopefully I'll be in smoking bliss by the weekend  ;D
Going to start slow, thinking of smoking a chicken first, if I flub it up it wont cost much and I guess it would make
good dog food if it turns out bad ;) I've never brined anything before so I'll have to read up on that. Man I'm getting excited  :D
I have alot planned for the smoker..I need to come up with a name for her  ;D

When you do a chicken be sure to keep the vent full open.  They give off a lot of water.

Pork butts are good also. Take a long time but are very forgiving. Enjoy your BDS and don't hesitate to ask questions. Lot of helpful people hanging around here.
