Hi everyone.  I just received the Bradley 4 rack as a wedding gift (about the only thing I received that we registered for) and I'm pumped.  About to give it the first coat of smoke this week in preparation for opening NFL weekend.

Anyone have a good suggestion for the maiden voyage?

I second the chicken - cheap and easy. But as stated -vent wide open is a must

Not to be a sore looser but the maiden voyage it SHOULD be EMPTY!! Then on the second firing it should be ABT's (Atomic Buffalo Turds) especially if it is for the football game. Start when the game starts be ready at half time.

first voyage should be  seasoning, second should be chickens or buffalo wings, and like others  have stated, vent wide open, enjoy

Congrats on your marriage and the Bradley,

Wings sound good I hadn't had the ABT"s yet!

Congratulations on you wedding and the  OBS is a great gift, you'll have hours of fun smoking and feasting on the results.

Congrats on the smoker, and welcome to the forum! I've gotta agree with 10.5, season first, ABT's are a good snacker, but if you need grub, chicken is cheap and easy and won't put you out if you should mess it up. Pork butt would be great if you've got the time.

You should set up a pre-nup (post-nup?) - if anything happens she gets the house and money --you get the Bradley.
