I like the idea, don't think it would float at Sweet Pea's school.  I want to attend your auction!

Beer at a church auction?? Oh YES I have seen a 12 pack of ice cold beer in a bucket go for $180 on a hot day. Average is $60-80.

That is sweet and the winning bids will get some great BBQ.

Congrats on a job well done.

Thanks!  We had a good time.   There was almost 375 people there, and most of the live auction items went for some decent money.   Thanks to Hal and Mrs for attending and dropping some $$$$ for the school!

Ask Hal about his new toy..

(no, this wasn't it - but someone took a very cute puppy w/ VERY large paws home...)

I won the auction for an I-Pod Touch.  Don't really know what it is or what it does, but I'll figure it out!

I've got some ideas for next year...   Maybe not so MUCH food.  (even though we do vac seal & freeze it in small portions)

Perhaps 2 of the 'big' packages as outlined, then some smaller ones (just ribs, just turkey, just pulled pork, etc.)

More of a 'meat menu'.

I noticed some other auctions that involved a "mutually agreed" time and/or place...
Maybe if we did some HOT deliveries?

It did! For the first time ever...  (I've been to events at this hotel since it opened, and they have NEVER had M/M)
