Came home from Mom sitting yesterday afternoon only to turn around and

drove back to Houston to see Jerry Jeff Walker and Joe Ely.

Ole "Scamp" Walker is 68 now but he is still having fun. It has been 38 years

since the last time I have seen Him play live, but I have been a fan since I

saw Him the first time. He can't sing like he use to and everynow and then He

would forget some of the words, but it was still FUN! It was in a small venue

with a revolving stage and we sat about 9 rows from the stage.

I had never seen Joe Ely before, but I liked what I saw.

His music touches on honky-tonk, country and rock and roll.

Was a great nite except for the dreaded drive (2 Hours) back Home.

I think I heard a "version" of "Floatin' In The Swamp".

I've been a Jerry Jeff fan for many years. Your a lucky guy to get to see him live... I bet it was fun.
