Just wondering what was the biggest butt/briskey that anyone has done in the OBS?  Do you remember  how long it took?  I did a 7lb'r butt I know I will want to do a larger one someday..

I've done 32lbs of butt in the OBS.

It takes a while - I think 20-24 hours.

Biggest single butt I've had was 9.5 lbs.

FLBR's packing of 4 butts into a single OBS smoke is very impressive.

But if you are looking for how much meat you can pack into a single smoking session,  I think this may be the defintion of over-the-top.  Behold "The MOTHER LOAD of Smokes".

The biggest single butt I have smoked I believed it was 12 pounds. It was so huge it barely fit on the tray and I posted a picture of it, but I can't locate it on my Photobucket account. I'll keep looking for it.

I had one that was just over 13 pounds...  It was huge.   I did it in my Traeger, though.

(turns out it was FULL of water & fat - not very happy with the results)

Bigger is not always better, even in Butts! ;D

I have been trying to get ones in the 8 to 9 lb range.

I picked up my 12 pounder from Sam's and it turned out to be one of the best to come out of the smoker, with the average 35% - 40% weight loss; and that loss was including the bone. I wouldn't hesitate to smoke another large one.

If your looking at the largest chunk of meat in the Bradley I believe Punchlock has that one with a 32 pound bone in Ham. I was close with a 22 pound boneless ham that was 36 hours

Yes Officer...I have smoked big butt.....No your Honor, I do not wish to confess how big her butt was!

11LB butt and 9LB Brisket at the same time took me just under 24 hours.
The brisket got done way before the butt was ready.

I have done a 14 pound brisket 12 hours of smoke and heat then  7 hours in the house oven in foil
