Blame Rachel Ray for the term EVOO.  She was presented a certificate from one of the big dictionary's crediting her with making that term a household word so they had to include EVOO in their dictionary.

Yeah I guess since she will say it 60 or 70 times a show. You would think after saying it once or twice she could then just say "Oil" after that. I watch her show sometimes but that kind of drives me nuts.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

Speaking of EVOO, anyone have any recommendations on good quality EVOO?

For use that will involve appreciable heat (saute, roasting, etc.) I use Colavita.  For low temp uses (dressing, drizzles, sauces, etc,) I like Lucini Premium Select (who also has some very good balsamic vinegar that doesn't break the bank).  Both are grocery store brands (Kroger).  Beyond that, I occasionally splurge for a small bottle of really good specialty stuff that can be very expensive.
I like animals, they taste good!

Anyone in Ontario Canada want to share their favorite? Mine is Bertelli's. A store brand with good flavor.
