curing salt and instacure #1?

are they both the same?  on susanminor.org the summer sausage recipe calls for curing salt.  is that instacure #1?

Thank for bringing that to my attention. In that recipe it is Cure #1. I will change it to make it clear that is what the recipe is calling for.
