Very glad to hear that everybody is ok.
But i have to say, not all auto makers have the nose for that kind of business.  ;D

I'm with Squirt.  and I leave my big ole hitch in there so when the lady on an oxygen tank with no license hits me doing 50 while I am stopped, well she feels it and not me.

If you added a hitch receiver under the bumper, that might provide a little additional protection. (not that you are planning on getting hit again)




Got one of them, rated at 2500 lb and had the same thing happen last year, had to cut the hitch  out to get to my spare tire.

The spare tire looked flat till we started cuttin, one bolt at a time.

Kinda makes you jump.  ;)
