I've had that skull pretty near forty years now. Back in my Texas days. Our last deer lease before I left out for TN was a 49,000 acre ranch not too far from Laredo. The second year we had it, when I was 15 or so, I got my biggest buck a big wide 10 pointer. The next day, decided we wanted some pork. Wasn't a very big one. Cleaned it and put the head on top of a wood pile out back of the bunkhouse and a few months later that was left. Had it stored in part of the garage I haven't been able to get to until recently.

We don't have them yet, but the way I see it they can't be too far off - we now have fire ants, armadillos, and coyotes. Can Africanized honeybees and javelina be far behind?
