up loading photos

how do you upload photos into your post???  tried clicking on the insert image icon but it does not allow me to find the image on my hard drive....

The photo must be in some internet sight like photobucket which is free. Join photobucket and you can upload pictures from your computer to photobucket. Copy the "image" link and paste it in your message and the image should appear in your posting.
