New to AUBER PID

Hey guys just got my dual auber pid,and and have a load of jerky on right know.I have it all programed up and it is smoking away very smooth.My question is-When it is all set and doing a smoke,how do I see what step it is on? Another question--Do i need an extra cord to use the SG from auber controls? I have the DBS>Thanks

Great purchase, you will like your pid, i own 3  ;D The way we know witch step you are at, is to check the time elapsed. Ex, 1st step 1h 2ND step 2h and your pid show 1.5 h you know you are at the 2ND step.

And no you don't need an other cord because you have a DBS and the paid does not controll this smoke generator cause your SG is built in timer.

thanks Toker, Does the r-1  r-2  modes not turn the SG on and off on the DBS?

The r1 r2 features for controlling the SG won't work with the digital version.  The digital has an electronic switch that can't be pre-set to on, you must manually turn on the SG by pushing the switch pad.
