Hey All,
     Yes, like many others I also received a new DBS six rack for Christmas.  After doing a lot of research, I recommended the perfect smoker to Santa.  My research also gave me the bug for a smoker house, mostly because of the cold and wind we experience here in Kansas.  Hopefully the pics will post below and yes, I stole the idea (thanks to the originator).  I'm somewhat versed in smoking on a very basic level as I owned a charcoal New Braunfel's smoker before, but I've smoked more meat since Christmas than I did the entire time I owned the other smoker.  So far I've done some pheasant, venison snack sticks, quail, salmon and chicken.  My very first experience with the pheasant and quail taught me you can't "set and forget" as the quail was more like jerky.  I'm looking forward to reading and conversing.

The "bradley house" is a good idea.
But, you might wanna think about moving it away from the house.

It ain't likely...  But bad things can happen.

Will do Hal, thanks for the reminder.  I've got a perfect spot that is directly behind where I was standing.  If it catches fire, it won't take too much with it.  I've got plenty of extension cord and I need to pick up an extinguisher!

I've got a buddy here (SquirtTheCat) that brings me a fire extinguisher every time I have a party!
Some folks bring a bottle of wine.  He brings a FE. (He knows me too well)...

U can buy another smoker.  Family is another story.  ;)
