Was talking with 10.5 telling Him about some sausage I was going to make and part of it was making

Summer Sausage in the 3lb logs. He said he had seen (he thinks) OU812 leave some space and twist

the logs to make two separate rolls. So I thought I would try it with the 1lb chubbys.

The meat was 70% Venison and 30% Ground Pork (Boston Butt) with a Lem's Summer Sausage Kit.

All package up.

wow  :o nice job, I like how short they are don't have to worry about flipping them over,or the bottom cooking before the top. That's one that I will definitely have to put in the tool box.

It seams not too many months ago you said you had made your first sausage. Now you are cranking it out like a pro. Those look great. You say those are made out of venison. Are you a hunter.

Good thing you got all that in the freezer.

Sonny
You just have to keep making good sausage and do it on shares for your deer hunting friends. I used to do that and I had more meat then I knew what to do with.

I never took my gun out of my truck this year at the Deer lease and ended up with 4 deer.

They run thru my back yard! ;D

Those are actually the perfect size! A one set meal with a sleeve of crackers.

Speaking of guns. I sprung for a Marlin 44 mag today that I plan to blow a hole big enough to throw a cat through in a hawg at the end of the month!
