I got me a box too!

KyNola and I hooked up so I could send him some of the (becoming infamous) Gunpowder BBQ rub from the Star Market here in N. AL.

Well I said I'd send him some Gunpowder BBQ rub and he in turn told me he would send me some "Starnes BAR-B-Q Sauce". Sounds like a fair trade! But I have to warn you people his heart is bigger then his word!

So the box looked like it got kicked down a block or two:


But everything inside was A-OK:


The inventory: Two bottles of Starnes, a bottle of each (from MAK Grills), Smokin Whiskey Grilling Sauce, Rum Grilling Sauce, Smokin Hickory Grilling Sauce, some Soileau's Cajun seasoning and from his own stash a 1 lb Vac-Pack of Head Country Championship Rub!

The two little words thank you do not seem to be enough...but "Thank You" KyNola!

He did tell me if there was anything I didn't like I could send it back! Yea right!

Morgan, Gunpowder arrived today too!  This stuff is CRAZY good.  It really is the color of gunpowder and like STC, I really can't describe the flavor but I'll take a shot at it.  Salt/pepper/garlic/onion/SMOKE!(I think hickory).  Have no idea how they get such a pronounced smoke flavor to it but this stuff is gonna be killer on the next butt I smoke!

you will flat out love that Starnes!!! especially on pulled pork.  I am almost through the bottle Hal and STC sent me (hint hint).  Oh this gun powder stuff, thinking that needs to be tried as well.  Will trade some Texas treats.
