jack and coke

can i just go to my local home depot and buy hog ring pliers and rings there.  instead of ordering and waiting for them to come from a "food" store like sausagemaker.com.

thanks.

anyone out there just use hog rings from home deopt, lowes, or sears.

I think so, I got mine at the local hayseed hardware for like $3

i see some of the rings are nickel coated.  should i try to avoid that and just stick with galvanized rings.

thanks

The coating dont matter because your not going above 180* on the sausage. My rings are aluminum.
