Guys, I have just about 3 hr of smoke on BB ribs in the DB6.  I do not have any apple juice.  Any recommendations for liquid when I foil them for an hr.  I think the only juice I have is lemon or lemon/lime combo.  Hot about wine?  Could I just skip the foiling all together and keep em naked. Any thoughts?

Lemon/lime would give an interesting flavor...

Or just keep them nekkid and drink the wine!   ;)

I've read that some people do not foil theirs at all and they say they turn out great.  I personally like to put in 1/2 cup of apple juice, called the Texas Crutch, in foil and seal them up tightly for 1-1.5 hours (baby back ribs) and then back on the rack bare for the last hour.  I've never tried any other juices, so I can't suggest something else to try if you don't have any apple juice handy.

Too late to run up to the store and grab a bottle of apple juice?

Wine, chicken stock, coca cola, root beer, water. The possibilities are endless. I like to use apple juice with slices of lemons  or limes between the racks of ribs....or like stc says go nekked as they are great that way too.

I used to foil but now I do them nekkid.

Where there's smoke, there's food.
