... is about to get a little smokier.

(apologies in advance for the crappy pictures)

20-odd pounds of pulled pork, ribs, turkey boulder and Italian beef-to-be..

Flew out Friday night with the frozen goodies stuffed in one of these (in one of these).

Not surprisingly, the TSA opened up the bag to take a peek..

MrsSTC's fam is coming over tomorrow afternoon for a BBQ feast, so I'll be up with the chickens thawing/warming it all up...

Chilling now with a few cold ones, then off to bed.

Stay tuned - if you like..    ;)

I remember the aroma of Tacoma, i was stationed at Fort Lewis while i did my military time, and the aroma of Tacoma was not BBQ smoke. But then again that was back in the 70's.  looks like a good time you will need more beer those Tacomin's no how to drink.

That is where we are at now.  Just south of Fort Lewis/Olympia.

MIL was born on Fort Lewis..  And then MrsSTC was born near a military base in Pisa, Italy.

The air is clear around Tacoma now.  The traffic is a different story.......

I was in tacoma a few weeks ago and didn't smell anything I didn't want to. Too bad we couldn't hoook up to meet. I would have loved to have got together. Oh well, another time I'm sure.

The Starne's was a hit...    We sent bags of leftovers home with everyone.   Just have enough left for dinner tonight..
