The package said "Pot Roast" - pretty close.

The roast was 4.5 pounds.  Put on some of Rodak's coffee rub.  It got 1:20 of cool oak smoke in the OBS.

I've never done a beef roast in TBE before but what the heck.  In it went.

It took about 1:20 to get to 132 before the rest, a little high for me but the wife likes it that way

It came out good and was actually chewable  :D

Sorry, we ate the money shot.  Had mashed with gravy and a steamed combo of zucchini, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms tossed in some butter.

Where there's smoke, there's food.

Way to go Ernie.  I can't get a pot roast tender enough to chew without liquid and a pot type cook.  You must have done something right.
