What about one you didn't keep an eye on?

1/3 cup turkey boulder FTC drippings, cup of low sodium chicken stock, 2 heaping tablespoons of Mies breading and what I thought would be a simmer..

Got it cleaned up right before MrsSTC walked in the door.  [phew]


Wasted a bunch, but the rest made for some tasty open faced smoked boulder sammies.

That there grub looks GREAT.

I do the same thing with beef, mmmm mm mmmm.

Gonna give it a shot with turkey when I get it.

Had a boil over last weekend making egg noodles, turned my back for 5 seconds and WOOF.  ::)

That would have been my doom if I had done that cause I never clean good enough to hide the evidence, I showed the wife your post and she was flabbergasted :o ;D ;D

I can't do anything in the kitchen without making some kind of mess, so I keep a full bottle of Windex under the sink to make it look like nothing ever happened...   That is the nice thing about those sealed glass cooktops.

I did use up the paper towels, though.   That was noticed.   (off to the store in a bit to restock)


I put all of my smokers on an enclosed gravel patio for a reason.   ;D

Great idea on the gravy! My wife and I made an agreement when we got married 32 years ago that one person cooks and the other cleans up the mess. Boy is she sorry she ever made that deal! It's really the main reason she lets me buy things like the Bradley and bbq's ;D
