Osama Bin Laden was killed Sunday, May 1st by a US special operations team and his body taken into US custody.  For all members of this forum family who lost someone on 9/11/01, I share your feeling.  As a veteran, I thank ALL who served in the military...past ...present...and future!!!  I grieve for all families who have lost someone in defense of this great country!!!

Having been in the Navy and attended several "Burials at Sea".  His body was sewn very tightly in a canvas wrap and VERY heavily weighted!  That body will NEVER float to the surface!!!

It does seem rather amazing that he was 1500 meters from the Pakistan Military Academy (Similar to West Point) yet NO-ONE  knew he was there.
