Sorry Darq, I missed this last night.

I'd give your Traeger dealer a shout, but it sounds like they added a 'cool down' timer, based on the temperature of the RTD probe.    Which is actually a very very good (and safe) idea...

The MAKs have them.  My 1 Star keeps going (just the fan, the auger is shut off) for 20 minutes after I turn it 'off'.

My Green Mountain has it lasts ten minutes makes the burn pot nice and clean ;D

Took some pics tonight.  Here's she sits on the stainless rolling table.

And here's a wider shot showing more of the table. I really like this setup a lot and most likely will be using it much more than my Texas grill.

Tonight I decided to put on a Schwann's fire baked pepperoni pizza.  Here's a before and after.  I cooked it too long so I've got some experimenting to do.

And, for those of you thinking DarqMan was smoking something other than food last night, here are two pics of the controller after I turned the knob completely off, to the left. I jiggled it and turned it as far left as it would go and it just would NOT turn off.  You can clearly see it is still on and running.

I called Traeger today and I explained the behavior.  Mike said that is definitely not normal and is sending a brand new controller shipped free of charge and a pre-paid return container.  Their service reminds me a lot of Bradley's the one time I had to call them.

G9, it's probably not AS bad as I made it sound.  I was just expecting it to be unscrew two screws, unplug and plug in.  There's more to it than that but not THAT bad.  If you want someone to talk you through it when it comes in, PM me and I'll send my number and talk you through it. My second on that comes in will be a breeze since I've done it once.

Thanks Pat, I like pizzas with "toasted" tops so bumped it up to high the last 5 minutes and it climbed pretty quick. It tasted good but the edges were a little crisp.  I ended up eating the entire pie so it obviously wasn't that bad ;D

I've never seen my 070 get that hot...   Sounds like you have the perfect "personal size" wood fired pizza/baked ravioli/calzone oven!

That's what I like about the Junior.  i wanted to do pizza on my Texas Traeger but always thought it was too big for a single pizza or pasta dish.  Now that I have the Junior it makes a lot more sense.  I'm also impressed with how few pellets it uses vs. what it takes to heat up the 075.
