Can't Read The Display

Newbie with BDS. Anyone else have trouble reading the digital read out in sunlight and any ideas other than getting under a blanket when making my smoke time and oven settings? :)

I try to keep the digital display away from direct sunlight so I can see the readout. I guess I've never had that issue because I put mine on a patio table with an eight foot umbrella over it when I'm smoking. I mainly do this also so I can angle the umbrella to keep the wind off the unit cause it will tend to mess with the cabinet temp.

I found this same issue but when I put it up on a bar height table and was able to see the display just fine. I guess you have to look at it straight on.

I found a fix for this using a polar filter.
