With all the jerky nugget postings i decided to make some to  ;D

I call mine.

3 lbs of trimmed nuggets.

Prob going the MAK/Bradley Hybrid on em  ;D

I see some Pink Salt there...

That might be a Mix from AC Leggs or something along those lines.

Rick if you lost power you could have taken the tumbler with the nuggets in it and rolled it down the hill out in back of your place...lol  :D

Got power back. The nuggets been in the Reveo canister in the fridge all night.

Now ready for the M/B Hybrid thats been getting some hickory smoke.





Temp holding pretty good.



Now the smoke test run.

Can you block off the left vents up near the MAK lid?  Might force some more smoke/heat towards the OBS..

Gutted my old 4 rack and cut the base from both.

I did aluminum tape the bottom vents on the MAK cold smoke box. The temp jumped to 100* Will try the top side vents next.

Cool.  If it gets too warm, you can prob the lid open on a stack of washers to let some of the excess heat bleed out..

Sorry Rick, my question was ill worded.  What I meant to say is are you getting a lot of smoke into the Bradley box?  Hard to tell from the pic.

Yeah Larry its getting smoke. I did aluminum tape the smoke box side vents which gave more smoke but it raised the heat like 20* It was a good trial run though. I think i'm going to make some sort of metal removable shield to cover the right side top vent.

The jerky nuggets done, now brown bag and fridge time.
