B-I-L brought me a present the other day.  Hoping to get some seeds from it and grow them for some Trinidad Scorpion Bite sauce.

Habanero Smoker

Looks very familiar to me.  :)

     I

I am Thinking more on the lines of a Bhut Jaloca (Sp) also known as a Ghost Chili
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

10.5.......That's a ghost chili according to my research...........YIPES!!!  Wash your hands.....then wash them again!!!

If you can't smoke it.....you don't need it!!!

Gizmo

It is known as the Trinidad Scorpion.  Reportedly now the hottest pepper, edging out the Naga.

Habanero Smoker

Looks very similar to the habanero or scotch bonnet.

     I
         don't
                   inhale.
  ::)

Quarlow

Cripes my eyes started to burn and my mouth hurts just from looking at the pic. :'(
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

OBS
BBQ
One Big Easy, plus one in a box.

La Quinta

That's a big sucker for a hot one...I always associate the really hot suckers to relatively small? Is that stupid?

Habanero Smoker

In general, the smaller and pointier the pepper the hotter, but as nature will have it consistancy is not always there. Also these days, the way they are manipulating vegetable species you can now buy mini-sweet bell peppers (green, red and yellow) that are smaller than jalapenos.

     I
         don't
                   inhale.
  ::)

La Quinta

Yeah...I like those mini bell peppers...they are great to stuff for appetizers...but dang the scorpion looks scary as hell!!!

Giz...what are you gonna do with that thing?

rdevous

I'd hate to think about biting into one of those as an ABT!!!   :o :o :o

Hopefully harvest the seeds, plant, and grow more for Scorpion Sauce.
