SL2010

Started with some Gorrilla BBQ

The sides were better than the Q there was ZERO smoke flavor on the brisket and ribs but the links were awesome so was the mac and cheese
The wife and the boys by the Golden Gate

And The Rock
Then in town we hit some of the hot spots from Triple D there was enough time to hit all on my list

This Tommy's Joinyt really cool how the cut everything to order

Then Ikes Place a good sandwhich but not worth the price

then a little ride threw the red woods

We had to fold in the mirrors on the car to fit
Then out to the coast along Highway 101 to Portland

along the way the wife found this little place and the Kalu Pig is awesome
Then down the road we came across this place

Tri-Tip and beef ribs and holy cow were they good
And then the big reason why we came out here

The cases  were lined with every deli meat and link that you could ever want or need the dogs were the best i have ever had and the pork links were good enough to move there s i could eat here everyday
Then we headed  to Seattle

After eating dinner we are walking back to the hotel and i could smell the BBQ from a couple of blocks away and found this place on the side of gas station even though i was full i had to stop i just wanted to buy a two or three bone sample but since he was closing i got a full rack for 10 bucks so at 8 oclock i sat in the hotel and killed the whole rack by 2 am i was so sick but it was worth it was some of the best Q i have ever eaten the whole trip rocked for those members that live out on the west coast go to Otto's its worth the trip on the way back down to San Fran we stayed on Highway 5 into Sacermento nice town to visit but now back in PA and hoping to move out to th west coast after the boys are done with school

Sweatshirts in August! Ya gottta love SF. Looks like a fun trip driving up the coast. Only been to Gorilla BBQ in Pacifica once, and that was enough for me. So many people on the west coast have never had real bbq, so they jump at just about anything. I could do spares in the oven better than that.

Looks like fun.  That tri-tip and beef ribs look killer!
